PRIVATE ENGINEERING ALPHA · APPLE SILICON MACS

Browse normally. Investigate deliberately.

Browse normally. Investigate deliberately.

Wehron Browser keeps familiar Chromium browsing separate from local, case-bound OSINT work. Browser Mode is the default; a confirmed restart opens an isolated OSINT Mode when the research record matters.

Current private engineering-alpha interface shown with synthetic demonstration data. Browser Mode opens by default without analyst, case, research, or evidence initialization.

APPLE SILICON · macOS 13+ / CHROMIUM-BASED / LOCAL-FIRST CASE DATA / PRIVATE ENGINEERING ALPHA

EXPLICIT BY DESIGN

One browser. Two clearly separated modes.

Ordinary browsing should never become research by accident. Wehron keeps the active mode visible and crosses the boundary only through a confirmed restart.

BROWSER MODE

Browser Mode

Default startup for tabs, navigation, website sign-ins, bookmarks, history, downloads, and multiple windows in one persistent local profile. Analyst, case, research, evidence, and OSINT recovery services stay off.

OSINT MODE

OSINT Mode

An explicit case-bound workspace with a dedicated persistent session, visible analyst and case, append-only research records, evidence capture, and consent-based downloads.

MODE BOUNDARY

Tabs, cookies, local storage, authentication, downloads, preload state, and privileged runtime objects never cross modes. Only an exact credential-free HTTP(S) address may be handed off explicitly, after the destination analyst and case are active.

REAL INTERFACES / SYNTHETIC DATA

These screens come from the current private engineering alpha. Every visible analyst, case, record, identifier, and localhost page is synthetic; no real browsing profile or research data was used.

OSINT MODE / ACTIVE CASE BOUNDARY

The active analyst and case remain visible while each case receives its own persistent Chromium session. The displayed page is a localhost-only synthetic fixture.

Wehron Evidence Library showing a freshly verified synthetic capture and path-free metadata

FRESH VERIFICATION

The Evidence Library compares trusted metadata, research-log anchors, and local bundle bytes before offering PNG-only preview. MHTML is never replayed.

Wehron Download Ledger showing completed synthetic case downloads and an exact-byte duplicate warning

PATH-FREE DOWNLOAD LEDGER

Case downloads are consent-based, hashed, never auto-opened, and shown without filesystem paths. Same-case exact-byte duplicates remain visible.

Built for deliberate research on the unfamiliar web.

Familiar browsing

Mainstream tabs, navigation, bookmarks, history, downloads, and website sign-ins. Research collection stays off in Browser Mode.

Case-scoped research

Every OSINT case owns a distinct persistent Chromium session, while the active analyst and case remain visible.

Evidence with context

Completed captures contain a screenshot, MHTML, manifest, checksums, source details, and a matching research-log anchor. MHTML is stored but never replayed.

Safety comes from explicit boundaries.

Sandboxed remote pages

No Node.js, preload, or Wehron bridge; HTTP(S)-only navigation; permissions denied by default.

Append-only research

Bounded case-local events in an fsync-backed SHA-256 hash chain.

Guarded downloads

Explicit consent with cancel as default; case-local, hashed, never auto-opened.

Verified evidence preview

Fresh verification before PNG-only display in a no-network preview; MHTML stays inert.

Startup recovery

Exact interrupted work is inspected before the case session or remote page opens; ambiguous material is preserved and blocking.

Case workspaces

Immutable case identities; transitions drain accepted work and destroy old hostile pages.

What changes when OSINT Mode begins?

STARTUP — ordinary / confirmed restart
BROWSER STATE — one Browser profile / one persistent session per case
RESEARCH LOG — off / visits and collection events recorded
IDENTITY — none / visible analyst and case
EVIDENCE — unavailable / capture, verification, PNG preview
DOWNLOADS — normal browser flow / explicit consent, hashing, no auto-open

No browsing state transfers across modes.

From ordinary browsing to a case-bound record.

01 · Browse

Use Browser Mode for normal persistent browsing.

02 · Choose deliberately

Confirm the restart when work must become case-bound.

03 · Research inside a case

Select an analyst and case, then record visits, captures, and controlled downloads locally.

No inflated promises.

Wehron is intentionally narrow.

Not anonymity, VPN, Tor, fingerprint spoofing, or anti-detect.
Not a crawler, CAPTCHA solver, autonomous agent, or monitoring platform.
Not cloud or AI browsing.
Not malware scanning, safe browsing, or forensic certification.
Not yet protected production storage, portable recovery, signing, notarization, or production updates.
Structured case data and evidence are currently local plaintext in this alpha.

Wehron is browser-first today. Protected storage, production recovery, signing, updates, and independent review remain release gates. There is no public download.
